Here we go again! Mamma Mia! is my 10^th show for the Warrensburg-Latham Drama Department and each year the show just gets more fun to produce! There have been so many great people to work with along the way, but this year’s team is phenomenal. We asked parents for help, and they delivered! There is not enough room in this playbill to give all staff, parents, and volunteers the thanks they deserve, but their willingness to help and make this a great show for the cast and community is very much appreciated!

The ABBA songs from this show take me WAY back and I love that the cast members are excited to relive these golden oldies through our show. In 1999, when I heard that there was a musical written to incorporate ABBA’s greatest hits I had very little hope for a cohesive plot. I mean, how do you take a lifetime achievement of music and weave a plot through it? The result is Mamma Mia! with many timeless plots woven into the show—single parenting, friendship, weddings, working moms, adventure, and romance. Those themes are told through a funny script and over 20 hit songs. This show is funny, sweet, and conveys that sometimes you just have to take a chance and risk everything in order to achieve your dreams! Enjoy!

Concessions   The Concession Stand will be open prior to the show and during intermission. Many thanks to those who volunteered to bake goodies and work!   All proceeds from the Concession Stand will help pay for royalties and new equipment for the 2023-24 WLHS Musical.
