STAR Theater

 Who's Who

  • Meg Cavanagh head shot

    Meg Cavanagh

    as Jo

Meg Cavanagh has been with Star since 2009 and is a recent graduate of Catonsville High School. Though she took a brief break from performing to try her hand at production, she is very happy to be back onstage. In the fall, she will begin at UMD. She thanks the entire cast and crew, but she would most like to thank Christopher Columbus just for existing and helping to make a great catchphrase.

  • Meghan Abdo head shot

    as Jo

This is Meghan Abdo's 1st time performing for Star and she is very excited. She is happy to have the opportunity to play such a great role. This is her first big lead and it has been quite a learning experience. Meghan is so grateful for the support of a great cast and directing team. Special thanks to my family and friends for their constant love and support and for always encouraging her to "dream big"!

  • Emma Jones head shot

    Emma Jones

Emma is excited to make her debut with STAR! Highlights from her three years at Baltimore School for the Arts include: singing at the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra’s 2011 Opening Season Gala and in 2013, performing in the BSO Pop’s production of Hairspray. She also sang for the Israeli and Canadian Prime Ministers. Some of her previous roles include Hope Harcourt in Anything Goes and Miss Jones in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying with Blackfriars Theatre. Emma sings annually with the BSA Opera Scenes, Chamber Chorus and full Chorus. Emma enjoys babysitting, baking, listening to Taylor Swift, and watching The Office.
