From the Principal…
Welcome to Notre Dame Academy’s 2022 performance of Little Women!
We have waited long enough… and now “Our Finest Dreams” have come true. The NDA Players are back with their amazing production of Little Women. Based on the book by Louisa May Alcott, Little Women follows the story of four sisters who, despite their hardships, know that “Some Things Are Meant to Be.” Just like Jo, Amy, Beth and Meg, our NDA Players were meant to be back on stage delighting audiences. We are all so blessed to be surrounded by such incredible students here at NDA and I am so glad you have come to witness their gifts firsthand. Every day I am astounded by the musical, artistic and theatrical talent of these students and their commitment to their craft, and I am certain that will be especially evident in this production. We love celebrating your success, but more than that we all love to see you perform on our stage!
Special thanks to our Performing Arts teacher and Director, Ann Marie Nacchio, our Musical Director Michael Ancona, and our Artistic Director Joe Barral. Your love for the arts has captivated all of us at NDA and your tireless dedication to our students is an example to all of us. Thank you for sharing your gifts and talents with our students.
To a phenomenal cast and crew: Together you are “The Most Amazing Thing” by your brave performances, your seamless stage direction, vibrant sets and musical skill. Although you make it look effortless, I know the hard work, countless hours, late night Starbucks runs (and too many UberEats deliveries!) you have put into making Little Women the smash it is. Bravo to all of you!
To an amazing group of parent and family volunteers: Thank you so much for generous support of our Performing Arts program. From Kisses for the Cast to carpools, you have given your time and energy to make this production so fabulous. Thank you for sharing your most treasured gifts, your daughters, with all of us.
Our dear Seniors: You are most definitely “Astonishing.” You have brought your unique, but collective, personality to this program and we are only the better for it. You have found your home on this stage. Now go out and light “The Fire Within…” you -knowing your NDA family is always here to support you. We hope you come back often to witness what you have contributed to: an award winning Performing Arts program that has grown so much! We know you’ll be a success!
