Right before quarantine I bought a pair of skates, and they got me through everything. Now, two years later I'm getting to combine two passions and share them with this amazing cast! Thank you to Doc Loc for FINALLY doing a play on skates, Sophie for getting through 27 actors on wheels, and the crew for making this incredible production work.

Dr. Jasmine Lellock
Director
Doc has a Shakespeare problem. She directed a dozen Shakespeare plays all over the Northeast, Delaware, and U. of Maryland. She geeked out so much about Shakespeare that she got a Ph.D. in early English drama, and she teaches senior Shakespeare at South. She got her B.A. in English at Alfred University, where she performed in the same theater program as Mr. Spruck.

When Mr. K told freshman me that South Stage would teach me “life skills,” roller skating wasn’t exactly what I pictured, but here I am in my show #9! I’m comin' for ya, double digits. Thanks to Doc, my calc-teacher-turned-skate-coach Ms. Q, the disco ball, and this whole team that's made me laugh every day.

Ryan Spruck
Technical Director
Mr. Spruck graduated from Alfred University with a degree in Technical Theatre. He was the Technical Director of Theatre at Elmira College, and then North Shore Music Theatre. Mr. Spruck loves sailing and playing musical instruments like the guitar, bowed psaltry, hammered dulcimer, and playing modern board games like Agricola, Antiquity, Carcassonne, and Vinhos.
