I am new to JSerra this year, and it is always a balancing act when coming into an established theatre program, you don't know what to expect when you first arrive.
We picked Anastasia for the musical over the summer, before I even knew who would be in my program. Most theater directors know a baseline of their talent when picking shows, I just had to trust the information given to me by the student leadership regarding the abilities of these students.
I have to say that this group of actors and crew have exceeded all of my expectations. The JSerra students involved in this production have brought their whole hearts to this beautiful musical, and it shows. I could not be prouder and cannot wait for you to see the magic they will bring to the stage today.
