Andrew S. Hernandez
Music Director
Andrew S. Hernandez is the newly appointed Choir Director at JSerra! He has had a deep love for choral music and performance since he decided to be a conductor at age 16. Although “Anastasia” may be his first musical, he has conducted many ensembles at the middle school, high school, and collegiate level. Mr. Hernandez even conducted Menotti’s 20th century operetta, “The Telephone,” in 2018, and toured it with many high schools in the orange county area. Andrew is a recent CSUF graduate, obtaining a bachelor's degree in Music Education with a Choral Emphasis in 2020, and a California Teaching Credential in 2021. He could not be more excited to make music with such a diverse and passionate group of young students. Theater and choir peeps, if you’re reading this, you’re going to be amazing!!
