 End Notes

Notes from the Director & Producer...

We could not be more proud of the incredible students who make up the Mane Stage Players both on stage and behind the scenes.  It is a magical experience to watch them collaborate, create, grow and learn from each other as the production has taken shape over the last few months.  A member of the crew said it best:  "It is great to be part of something."  When we are part of an experience that in its totality is larger than the sum of the individuals, it is a amazing experience.

The theater experience is one of self-discovery and empowerment not unlike the self-discovery of Elle Woods in Legally Blonde.  As the story of Legally Blonde unfolds, we are reminded that it is when we go outside our comfort zone and take risks, we become aware of what we are truly capable of.

The Mane Stage Players are a vibrant component of the fine arts at Joseph A. Foran High School.  We are grateful for the ongoing support from our building administrators, Principal Mr. Max Berkowitz, Assistant Principal Mrs. Beth Gillman and Assistant Principal Mrs. Dena Kelly who make us feel valued for our contributions to the Foran community.  This support is also reflected by our Central Office administrators, Superintendent Dr. Anna Cutaia, Assistant Superintendent Dr. Amy Fedigan and our Instructional Supervisor for the Fine Arts and Library-Media Mrs. Amy Perras.

"Even if I crash and burn ten times a day, I think I'm here to stay.  I'm gonna find my way." - Elle Woods
