Seussical Jr. - March 18 - March 20, 2022

Glen Crest Middle School

 Acknowledgements

Dr. Seuss’s clever illustrations and whimsical rhyming stories take us all to strange places full of bright colors and imaginary creatures and today Glen Crest Middle School has the privilege of bringing those things to life on stage for you. Besides being a fun show filled with bright colors and timeless characters, Seussical tells us the story of an elephant who would do anything for his friends. “A person’s a person, no matter how small.” This phrase, repeated throughout the show, demonstrates Horton’s patience, determination, kindness, and compassion towards people that he couldn't even see. It is my hope that through this show students are reminded that even people who are different than them deserve to be defended and fought for.
