The author who brought to us his wonderfully adapted version of Charles Dickens' classic, A Christmas Carol.
Garrison Players Arts Center is very grateful to Tom Frey
Tom Frey began working professionally in the entertainment industry during the Jimmy Carter administration. In the ensuing years he has appeared on stage, television, films and nightclubs. He has acted, directed, produced, designed and swept the stage.
Since 1980, he has appeared as Charles Dickens, recreating the author’s dramatic reading of A Christmas Carol. Since 1988 he has worked with the Maine Drama Council in various capacities, providing ways of connecting theater and education.
As a playwright, he has had a dozen plays produced, two of which opened off-Broadway.
Over the years his production of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol has been staged multiple times throughout the United States. It’s wonderful to be back in New Hampshire again where it was first staged.
