Esther Henson
Director
Esther has been Una Voce Director for nine years. Her love for young people and musical theater has brought students to the stage in several musical productions: Music Man Jr., Singin’ in the Rain, The Sound of Music, and most recently, Oklahoma! It has been a goal to teach outside the classroom, motivating students to share stories through music, verbal dialogue and dance. Esther has been teaching and directing for 31 years in the classroom, stage and festivals. Before living in Orlando, she spent many years teaching in Georgia. She is a member of NafME and AMA and continues to be passionate about keeping music education alive in our schools.
When not in the classroom, Esther enjoys Maggie and Sadie, her two pups. She also loves the time she can travel to spend precious moments with her five grandchildren. She loves to travel, spend time with parents and friends.
Esther is forever grateful to FLEC for the support and commitment to Una Voce.
