BEST OF BOTH WORLDS - April 30 - May 01, 2021

Chesterfield Children's Theatre

 End Notes

Note from the Director:

I stepped into the director's role about 2 1/2 weeks ago.  It has been a stressful whirlwind; from trying to figure out how we were going to do the music for a virtual production, to making sure all of the cast members turn their microphones and cameras on or off at the appropriate time. I want to take this time to thank the following people on this virtual show journey:

Narci Dell for always jumping in to help with the music "sharing" on the zoom platform during rehearsals when I didn't have a clue of what to do and willingly be interviewed at the last minute when we decided to start promoting the show during our CCTease Wednesday night webshow. Thank you for being there.

Tracey Lynn Frame for giving me the encouragement and support to bring some of our cast members together at her house "studio" to film and record a few of the show's songs.

Heather Carlson-Jaquez who called me out of the blue and gave me suggestions on what we might be able to do with recording, volunteering to make props with items around her house, and referring a new youth cast member who was interested in helping with our show.

All of the parents and cast members who came together on Tuesday to help record the music. We rehearsed, recorded, and filmed video and audio of four out of six songs in 2 1/2 hours with face masks and costumes.

Diana Blessing for opening up the Zoom Room for all of the rehearsals and taking care of all of the technical aspects "backstage" with the sound effects, video recordings, internet interruptions, and voice laggings.

Last but not least, I would like to thank my wonderful cast who are amazing and talented. Each of you brings forth a creative energy that continues to make me proud.
