A Note from the Director:
Welcome to our production of Arthur Miller’s All My Sons. We are excited that you are here tonight to share in this beautifully written story by a premier American playwright. Arthur Miller’s The Crucible, A View from a Bridge, and Death of a Salesman are some of his other famous titles. These plays, with their strong emphasis on family, morality, and personal responsibility, speak to the growing fragmentation of American society. All My Sons is no different. This is a tragedy with a powerfully moving ending. As a director, I feel it is my duty to tell Arthur Miller’s story as he meant for it to be told.
I would like to thank the Patrons for the Performing Arts for their continued support in the arts at Chaparral High School. Please consider joining them in the work they do for the students at Chaparral.
It has been an honor and privilege working with over 70 committed and talented theatre students for this production. We value each and every student involved in the program! We could not do it without all of them. Thank you for supporting them.
A special welcome to anyone viewing his or her first Chaparral Theatre production. We hope you will come back for years to come. We would also like to welcome faculty, staff, and adminstration to our production tonight. Thank you for supporting the arts!
Please enjoy the show, and remember to find us online at ChaparralTheatre.org and find us on Facebook at facebook.com/ChaparralTheatre.
Thank you,
David Peterson
