Aliya Rosegreen
as Theseus, Duke of Athens; Oberon, King of the Fairies
Aliya has been acting since kindergarten and all the way through college. In 2014 Aliya made her debut on The Bastrop Opera House stage performing her multi-media version of Jane Wagner’s The Search for Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe, a one woman show. She is very excited to be performing Shakespeare again, and is happy to be portraying Theseus and Oberon.

Annie Wallin
as Hippotyta, Queen of the Amazons; Titania, Queen of the Fairies
Annie is honored to take on these roles in her favorite Shakespearean play. Other roles include Maria Elena in The Buddy Holly Story, Chiffon in Little Shop of Horrors, and Diana in Lend Me a Tenor. Annie is a wannabe renaissance woman dabbling in a bit of everything: teaching, writing, singing, dancing, acting, baking, and moonlighting as a Marilyn Monroe impersonator.

Courtney Katzmeyer
as Lysander, young courtier in love with Hermia; Fairy
Courtney is a singer, actor, teacher, and director based in San Marcos. Courtney has performed with Texas Hill Country Opera and Arts, Texas Concert Opera Collective, and Gilbert and Sullivan Society of Austin. She has undergraduate degrees from Miami University and a masters in Vocal Performance from Texas State.

Brian Colson
as Demetrius, preferred by Egeus as a match for Hermia
When not landscaping in the sweltering Texas sun, Brian partakes in extra/small roles in film, such as Panic and Fear the Walking Dead, and has done voiceover work in local projects and commercials. He also acts/writes for independent projects in the works. This will be his first theater debut at the Bastrop Opera House.

as Helena, in love with Demetrius
Yahva has portrayed many roles in various theaters, including both Delightful and Nadine, in Dearly Departed. Rachel in Exit Laughing, Belle in Ebenezer's Journey, Jenna Sealy in Farce Of Nature, and Menteith in Macbeth. Yahva is also a magician, puppeteer, musician, writer, competitive fencer, archer, and shooter.
