Who's Who In the Cast

Olivia Buzzelle

Set Design

Olivia Buzzelle (She/her) is a first year at Bard College and is intending to major in phycology. She has previously been in productions of Hairspray, The Lion King and Fiddler On the Roof as well as worked behind the scenes as set designer. She is excited to be a part of the Bard theater community and to continue building her production skills.
Mo Szalla

Lighting Design

Mo Szalla is a first year intending to major in Studio Arts. They've worked in theatre for 5 years, but this is their first time working for the Old Gym! Their favorite aspect of theatre is set and prop construction, and a fun fact about them is they are a nerd for marine biology.
Azalea Rusillon

Costume Design & Props

Azalea Rusillon (she/her) is a first year student at Bard college. She has been acting since the age of nine, specializing in the work of Shakespeare. Some of her favorite roles to play have been Lady Macbeth, Titania, Nurse in Romeo and Juliet, and Gertrude in Hamlet. She has also studied and acted in Chekhov plays such as Uncle Vanya and The Seagull. In addition to acting, Azalea loves to write and has a passion for costume design. She has worked in that capacity on several student films. Azalea hopes to take part in many more theater and film productions at Bard and in her life.
Marissa Salett

Costume Design & Props

Marissa Salett (she/they) is a first year intending on majoring in Studio Arts and Anthropology. They have worked on and off stage of many productions such as The Amen Corner, 9 to 5: The Musical, The Laramie Project, 1984, Richard III, etc. They are super duper excited to be a part of the theater scene at Bard!
Christopher Schwartz

Assistant Director

A freshman, Chris priorly directed CLUE and acted in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Barfée), The Addams Family (Fester), Peter and the Starcatcher (Fighting Prawn), et al. As a Thespian, he's devoted 1200+ hours in theatre's many forms.
