Hannah Grosser

as Dora Bailey

Hannah plays Dora Bailey, the Hollywood gossip reporter, as well as a Chorus Girl in some of the Singin' in the Rain songs. Previously, she participated in all the elementary Christmas shows. She has enjoyed doing this year’s show with her friends. Hannah would like to thank Mr. Ross and her dad for putting so much time into coaching the cast.

Isaac who has been active in many of our plays would like to thank Mr. Ross for directing, Mr. Grosser for help with lyrics, Mr. Zylstra for being pianist, Julie Velgersdyk and Clare Danz for choreography, all of the volunteers helping out backstage, and God for this opportunity to do this. “To all actors of this musical, break a leg and make 'em laugh!”

Mercy enjoyed working on Singin in the Rain with her friends. She would like to thank the people that drove her from each practice, all the adults that helped with the musical at school, the choreographers, and her family for helping her practice and putting up with it. If she could be in any play or musical she would choose Frozen because she loves the movie.

Singin’ in the Rain is Calvin's favorite show so far at Avail Academy. In 5th grade he played a store manager in the Christmas play. He would like to thank Mr. Zylstra because his piano playing helps a lot and we couldn’t do the musical without him.

Singin’ in the Rain has been her favorite show to be in because she has been able to get out of her comfort zone, especially in learning how to talk like Lina Lamont.” Evie would like to thank the director, musicians, choreographers, the people who drove her, and her amazing family for encouraging her and helping her practice.
