Welcome to YPTC’s production of Sister Act!

When I accepted the role of director, I was definitely walking into uncharted territory. In addition to teaching music, I now had the responsibility of establishing the blocking, running sound, and laying out the set among other duties. The amount of work to be done was overwhelming at first; however, I received help and support from fellow directors as well as the cast of this show.

At YPTC, we strive to provide our casts with a place where they can not only grow as actors but as individuals as well. It has been a privilege to witness the cast’s transformation over the course of this production. Each cast member walked into rehearsal with an open mind and determination to improve. Their dedication is inspiring and has encouraged me in this new endeavor.
