The story of Junie B. Jones is about growing up and discovering who you are and who you want to be as you navigate the obstacles of life. It might be set in elementary school, but the messages of resilience, positivity and friendship resonate with both young and old. Just as Junie learns, we all need to work hard to make our sour situations sweet. To do that, we need to rely on our friends, family and the indomitable community that is Young Actors' Theatre.
When you surround yourself with good people, people you love, people who care about the things you care about, it is much easier to make lemonade out of life’s lemons. I feel really fortunate to be a part of Young Actors' Theatre and I’m honored to be among its community of people. From students and parent volunteers, to our amazing Board of Directors, we have something really special here. I wholeheartedly appreciate every single person who helped make this story possible. It is only through your continued support that we can provide a space like this for people to write the story of their life.
