Catherine Tarlov
as Rafiki
Catherine is 14 years old and is a freshman in high school. She is thrilled to be playing Rafiki in this incredible show. Past favorite roles include Boylan Sister (Annie), The Cat (Honk), Bird Girl (Seussical), and Lucy (13, the Musical). Catherine would like to thank the artistic team for giving her the opportunity to play this dream role, and her family for their unending support.

Adizen Hull
as Mufasa
Adizen has been performing for many years, many of which have been here at YAT. She loves to sing and recently took up piano. She plans on being in the theatre when she gets older. Her favorite role was when she was the lead in HONK.

Jamie Kramer
as Zazu
Jamie is an energetic young actor. He loves all things Hamilton and Harry Potter. His favorite roles have been Marionette (My Son Pinocchio Jr.), Micheal (Peter Pan) and The Fiddler (Fiddler on the Roof). He is excited to return to YAT for The Lion King, Jr.

Blake Brown
as Scar
Blake is in 8th grade. He started performing in 5th grade at YAT and he hasn't stopped. His first role was the Croc in Peter Pan. Currently, he is teaching himself the keyboard and adapting books to musicals. He appreciates Ms. Kim and the Artistic Staff for giving him the opportunity to “get into his character.” He anticipates and looks forward to being “booed” as he plays “Uncle Scar.”

Nicholas Haney
as Young Simba
The Lion King, jr. will be Nick's 8th production with Young Actors' Theatre since March 2017. Nick loves his YAT family and feels at home on stage with the many friends and mentors he has worked with. He is excited about working with a new director and all of the members of the artistic team.
