The first time I saw the movie ELF as a kid I knew it was a story we would all relive for many Christmases to come. 

ELF remains such a popular part of the holidays because through all the glittery tinsel, pretty gifts, lights and laughs it shows us real people we can learn from. In Buddy we see the spirit of a child waking up on Christmas morning. In Michael we see that child reaching to hold on to that spirit as he is growing up. In Jovie and Walter we see the adults who desperately need help finding that spirit and in Emily, we see a mom who’s only wish it to bring her family together for Christmas. 

It has been such a pleasure to spend this time with our wonderful cast and crew bringing this story to life. On behalf of all of us...we thank the staff at a Young Actors' Theatre and the remarkable parent volunteers for your countless hours of work and finally thank you to all of you for being here tonight to support our local youth theater. We would not be here with out you!
