Ariella Kvashny

as Tracy Turnblad

Ariella Kvashny is 15 years old and she is super excited to be in YAT's production of Hairspray. She has been in over 13 shows with different companies like CYT and VAPA. Her favorite roles have been Grace in Annie, Mama Bear/ Mama Ogre in Shrek, Ancestor Laozi in Mulan, and the Goose in Charlotte's Web. She would like to thank her parents and family for supporting her and believing in her!
Jim Snyder

as Corny Collins

Jim Snyder is honored and very excited to play Corny Collins in Young Actors’ Theatre's presentation of Hairspray. He has recently performed in the YAT's “Home for the Holidays’” and was a guest performer playing the part of Teen Angel in the YAT's production of “Grease.” He would like to thank Jean and the entire artistic team for this wonderful opportunity.
Ryan Dietrich

as Edna Turnblad

Ryan is thrilled to be back at Young Actors' Theater! Previous credits include Songs for a New World (Man 1), Rent (Mark), In the Heights (San Diego Repertory Theater), and many more. He would like to thanks his entire support team of family, friends, and mentors. He could not have done this without you!
Megan Singer

as Penny Pingleton

Megan is 14 years old and she is excited to be performing in Hairspray. Some of her favorite roles include Roderigo in Babes in Toyland, Jetsam in Little Mermaid, NYC Star-to-Be/Duffy in Annie, and her most recent role as Ashleigh in Little Shop of Horrors. In her spare time Megan has recorded several songs with local San Diego talent. She would like to thank the artistic team for their hard work!
Danielle Gulihur

as Velma Von Tussle

Danielle Gulihur is thrilled to be back at the Kroc performing again! Some previous credits include Paulette in Legally Blonde, Sally Brown in You're a Good Man Charlie Brown, and Debra Watts in Kimberly Akimbo. Danielle wants to thank her family, friends, co-workers, and girlfriend for their constant support as well as Susan Jordan DeLeon for always encouraging her to follow her musical dreams!
