NOTES FROM THE DIRECTOR

 

Welcome to our production of "Shrek Jr."!  As the director, I want to thank you for being here today.  It's been such a fun show to work on with these talented cast members.  I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone involved.

 

To all of our parent who helped along the way, we thank you so much!  There is so much involved with putting on a show like this, from load in/load out, to sets and props, front of house, stage crew, dressers, photographers, and publicity.  We couldn’t do this show without you!  

 

I’d like to say a very special thank you to the following:

 

To our hardworking crew and dressers. You’re the heroes behind the scenes, making sure everything runs smoothly.

 

To our talented photographers, Autumn Nguyen, Stacey Sayre, Julienne Ratanasen, 

Courtney Carlmark, and Claudio Jule for the amazing keepsakes you've created for the cast.

 

To our Company Captains who helped with our technical setup and backstage support!  

 

To Lela Kruger-Goo for all the work you put into the wonderful props you made.  You did so much!

 

To Dede Thompson and Kim Taniguchi for your many, many hours and days of work on costumes.  We appreciate you so much!

 

To our alumni parents, Jennifer Muchowski, Arwen Flint, and Paul Nauman, who came back to help save the day!  You really did!

To our Assistant Director, Maddy Flint: I have absolutely loved working with you over the past few months.  You are incredible!  The kids love you, you are so talented, and I truly appreciate your help and advice.  Thank you for putting so much into it!  

 

To our Producer, Ann Singerman: No one will ever understand how very much you do for these shows.  Thank you for devoting all day, every day to making it happen, and for helping me with all the decisions.  You do know best.

 

And to our audiences: Thank you for joining us on this crazy journey.  Your laughter, applause, and support make performing for you so much fun! We hope “Shrek Jr.” brightens your day! Thanks for being a part of our fairy tale!
