Liorah Singerman
Director
Liorah grew up doing theater in Sacramento. She received a BFA in Musical Theater from Syracuse University, and continued to study theater in London and New York. Liorah founded Young Actors Stage in 2008 and has since brought musical theater to thousands of Sacramento kids. In 2016 a lifelong dream came true when she had the opportunity to direct Les Miserables for which she won 6 Elly awards including Best Overall Production, Director, Musical Director, Lighting Design, Set Design, and Sound Design. The most gratifying thing for her, is seeing these cast members light up on stage, confident that they are part of a supportive team, and then watch that confidence grow over the years as they take these theatrical skills into any area they choose to pursue.

Ann Singerman
Producer
Ann Singerman is a retired teacher, who worked with children from preschool through high school in the SCUSD district for almost 30 years. Her favorite part of teaching was incorporating the arts into the curriculum, and making learning engaging and fun. Ann has been part of the Sacramento theater community for decades, serving as the president of the board at Sacramento High School's VAPAC program, and co-founding The Stage Door Company. As the producer at YAS, Ann takes care of all the important details of the production that the audience can't see, behind the scenes, a little like magic.

Madeline Flint
Assistant Director
Maddy Flint is so excited to be assistant directing for the production of Shrek Jr! This is her first time assistant directing, but she has been performing for fifteen years! She’s been in many productions with Young Actors Stage including her first play, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, and her final play, Matilda. She wants to thank her family for their support and Liorah for her kindness and amazing guidance throughout the process! Maddy is so excited for you to see Shrek Jr!
