Throughout the year our students have the privelege to train with professionals in the industry. This opportunity helps our students grow tremendously throughout their years at Wylie East. We are so grateful to these professionals who graciously share their skills, expertise, and advice with our students. Throughout the production and rehearsal process we have had the privelege to have three incredible workshops for our students.
Special thanks to Josh Smith, Technical Director at Dallas Children's Theatre, for teaching our students over the summer new skills for set construction, safe practices, and tips and tricks from his own professional toolbox!
Special thanks to Linda Leonard, actress, choreographer, and voice actor for coming out to teach the cast the fundamentals of the Waltz, Foxtrot, and Russian Dance. We had a ball!
