Welcome to the Black Box, recently named “The Grove Theatre”. The Theatre Arts I Class and Film Production students present, this beloved American holiday classic as a captivating live 1940s radio broadcast. With the help of an ensemble that brings a few dozen characters to the stage through their voice work, the story of idealistic George Bailey unfolds as he considers ending his life one fateful Christmas Eve. Instead, he finds out how important his life is not only to his family and friends but to his community. We hope this story brings a sense of belonging and a strong reminder that “no man is alone when he has friends”. Enjoy the Show and we wish you all a Very Happy Hanukkah, Merry Christmas and the Happiest of Holidays!
