Lynn Connors, Costumer:  This is Ms. Connor’s first year as Costumer for the play, She has been teaching for 22 years, 14 of which have been at Wilson Middle School. She is the mom of three sons and Nana to three grandsons. While this is her first time making costumes for a play, she has worked on Halloween costumes for her family for years. She also loves to be outside, garden fish, and ballroom dance when she can.

 

Eric Fries, Backstage Producer: Mr. Fries is in his fifth year of teaching L & L and Social Studies at Wilson, before which he taught in Vermont for six years. This is his third year as backstage producer, having served in the role in The Lion King, Jr. and Beauty and the Beast, Jr, and he feels fortunate to work with a talented and dedicated group of students each year. In his free time, Mr. Fries enjoys running, traveling, playing music and spending time with his friends, family and dog.

 

Sarah Friswell, Choreographer : Ms. Friswell grew up in Natick and has been dancing since she was 6 years old. She has been teaching science at Wilson for the past 5 years. When she's not teaching, she's choreographing the musicals at Kennedy and Wilson, dancing on her own, and singing in an a cappella group.

 

Adam Gray, Director:  Shrek Jr is the 7th musical directed by Mr. Gray at Wilson Middle School. The other shows he directed include Mulan, Wizard of Oz, Seussical, Lion King, Little Mermaid and most recently Beauty and the Beast. It has been an absolute pleasure working with such a talented production crew and cast. Thank you to all the parents who helped. In his spare time Mr. Gray likes to run, ski and spend time with his wife and his dog Harper. 

 

Heather Moretz, Music Director: A founding member of the Wilson Middle School Musical, Ms Moretz is thrilled to be part of her sixteenth Wilson musical production!  Her love of music and theater comes from a previous professional life as an opera and concert singer.  Her most notable role to date continues to be that of Mom.

 

Sheila Pogarian, Producer: Mrs. Pogarian is in her twelfth year of teaching 8th Grade Earth Science at Wilson. She has been producing the musical for the last five years. She loves musical theater and has never missed a Wilson production since she began working here. She is happy to have the opportunity to work with the students outside of the classroom.  Sheila also sings in the Sound & Spirit Community Choir.

 

 

 

After the show...

 

The entire cast will come out to the gym lobby (where refreshments are sold) to meet with all family, friends and fans in full costume! THis is the time to take pictures and congratulate your favorite characters!

 

Please respect the backstage production and wait for your cast member in the lobby. DO NOT come backstage or on stage.  Once pictures are taken in the lobby, please send your cast member back to return their costume and set everything up for the next production.
