TRAUMALOGUES: Darkness Into Light - December 17

William Allen HS

  Cast Who's Who

  • Malachi Barlow head shot

    Malachi Barlow

Malachi has been making films and movies for a long time. After hearing about this year’s fall drama he thought, “I’m going to try something new.” Joining the cast provided the perfect opportunity to push him out of his comfort zone. He is used to sitting alone at a computer editing his movies but now, he’ll be acting in plays. (Hopefully)!

  • Chanel Brito head shot

    Chanel Brito

Chanel Brito is a senior at Dieruff High School. She played softball for one year. She loves to dance and is thankful for the opportunity she had to dance ballet in a theater as a child. Chanel also took a drama course in her native country, which she loved, but out of shyness did not continue. It took courage to follow her dream and audition for the fall production. Chanel is grateful for this opportunity and this experience that she will remember for a lifetime.

  • James Cortes head shot

    James Cortes

James Cortes is a self taught guitarist, bassist, percussionist, and singer. James is a junior at Dieruff and has been involved with the Dieruff band for two years, but has been playing music his whole life. He was also the president of the GSA at Dieruff and is a member of the Spittin’ Truth poetry group. He plans on going to college for communications and being a journalist, writer, musician, and producer. James’s main message is that everyone should be proud of themselves, and if they won’t be proud of themselves he’ll do it for them.

  • Jaylene De Los Santos head shot

    Jaylene De Los Santos

Jaylene is a two-year member of the William Allen High School Dance Academy. She has been part of the Girls Volleyball team for two years. She would like to give a shoutout to her dance teacher, Ms. B, who has taught her everything she knows about dance and being a personal favorite teacher. She is thrilled to be a part of this virtual fall drama. She would like to thank Allentown School District for providing this wonderful opportunity.
