Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka JR. - May 09 - May 10, 2014

Whitefield Academy

 Acknowledgements

To date, Willy Wonka Jr., is certainly the most ambitious musical the Lower School has ever produced! This version is actually designed for Middle Schoolers so, I am extremely proud of these young actors and crew.  Beginning with auditions, I've delighted to be privy to their dedication, youthful joy, and sheer gumption as they've embarked on this candy-coated adventure!

Another thing that's certain: this is a team effort.  Go Wolfpack!  The team of teachers, parents, and professionals who have helped make this production happen are too numerous to name individually (lest I forget any one...).  I am so thankful for your time and effort to help provide this opportunity for these students and our school.

- Brian Coski

Special thanks and recognition are in order to these helpful folks...

Tracy Griffin for Coski-wrangling; and tirelessly and joyfully supporting our efforts.  Seriously...tirelessly - stop e-mailing me at 11:45pm!!  It has been a pleasure to work with you these last two years.

Danette Coski for your artistic vision that has promoted WA stagecraft to new levels! Thank you for making time for one of our favorite past-times even with your new job...and an 18 mo. old...and a 390 mo. old!

Adrienne Margine for once again joining us on this adventure.  Thank you for lending your dance expertise to our choreography and for putting up with Coski's constant changes!

Bunny Webb for seaming together our loose ends!  So glad you're back on 2 feet.

Kristen Fikse & Natalie Bell for embracing the unenviable task of backstage wrangling of youngsters on a performance high!  These amazing young ladies performed on this stage not too long ago in their past Lower School lives - as a robot scarecrow and illiterate pirate.  You're welcome ladies - you're welcome.

LS Teachers & TAs for helping to make this all work by giving up academic time, heping to get kids to recess practices, etc., etc.  Thank you for your amazing flexibility and patience!  It is a privilege to partner with you.

Countless Parent Volunteers for joyfully involving your whole family in the arts experience.  Thank you for the big and little tasks you have performed in preparation and execution of these special performances.  Special thanks to Chip and Melanie King, Laurel Nandkeolyar, Mark and Susan Schmitt, Cara Trovato, Janelle Holton, Lisa Rhudy, Trish Thomas, Michelle Johnson, Jennifer Martin, Beth Figaretti, Stacie Kennedy, and Fredda Hicks.
