I tried out for the muscal because I like acting and singing and participating in the musical is a fun and social way to do so!  I have participated in the musical in 6th, 7th, and 8th grad.  I was Michael Banks in Mary Poppins, Michael Wormwood in Matilda and this year I am Evan Goldman in 13, Jr!  I am inspired to act because it's fun!  My favorite part of the acting process is when we run through the musical during tech week.  It's fun to do the whole thing from start to finish because it feels more real!

My least favorite thing about the acting process is is when it's really close to show day and I don't have all my lines memorized! Random facts:

* When I tried out for this musical, I was 12 years old, just about to turn 13, just like Evan in the musical. I love baseball, and although Evan is a Yankees fan, I am a die hard Phillies fan and the Yankees are my least favorite team!

Maria Morales

My name is Maria Morales and I really just wanted to try out musical for fun and it really has just really pulled me right in. I have never had any other acting experiences I have preformed cheer, I have preformed almost everything except for acting so this was completely new to me. I guess the thing that inspired me to act was June Fair (Charlotte) actually she kinda told me what this was and how I should try it so I kinda owe her that. One of my least favorite things was the repetition and kinda the fear of being weird or bad with my acting. One of my most favorite things was hanging out with the cast I absolutely loved it, they were so nice and were not judging at all (at least I hope) and were just fun to be around. Some things about me is I do a lot of sports, like a lot…, another thing is that I like water(lol) like 5 Stanley’s a day is normal. I just turned 12 on the 28 of February!
