The Tempest, Reimagined - October 24 - October 26, 2024

Westtown School

 Who's Who

  • Maddie Moore-Barkley '25

    as Prospero

Maddie is very excited to be a part The Tempest at Westtown School. She is currently a Senior and this is her fourth year at Westtown. Recent Westtown productions that Maddie has been a part of are Chicago, as Matron Mama Morton, and Twelfth Night as Malvolio.  Maddie would like to thank her mom and grandma for being her number one supporters and finally the cast and crew who have been able to make this show happen. If Maddie could have three books with her on the magical isle of the Tempest, those books would be: Heartless by Melissa Myer, Punk 57 by Penelope Douglas, and Unwind by Neal Shusterman.

  • Elvis He '27

    as Caliban

Elvis looks forward to being part of The Tempest, as Caliban, the monster.  Elvis' favorite theater show is "War Horse". He enjoyed a lot in the theater program and he wants to thank every member of the program who has worked hard to make this show come true. At last, he would like to present this proverb to everyone: "The journey is far too long to see the end, but I will seek, search, and discover."

If Elvis could have three books with them on the magical isle of The Tempest, those books would be:

Man's Search for Meaning, Beyond Good and Evil, and Thus Spoke of Zarathustra.

  • Soph Butch '27

    as Ariel

Soph will be playing the spirt Ariel. They most recently played Chiron in The Lightning Thief Musical at Uptown Studio and Fogerty and Harrison in Chicago the Musical (Teen Addition) here at Westtown. They also enjoy playing bass, singing, both taking and teaching karate classes, drawing, and animating. Soph would like to thank everyone who made this production possible for all the work that they put into this production. If Soph could have three books with them on the magical isle of The Tempest, those books would be Cursed By Karol Ruth Silverware, The Lightning Thief, and The Heroes of Olympus, The House of Hades By Rick Riordan.
