John Hellyer
Director
John Hellyer teaches Choral Music & Piano at WOHS. Mr. Hellyer is the advisor for the Tri-M Music Honors Society and directs the Glee Club. He directed ALMOST, MAINE and been the music director for AIDA and THE WEDDING SINGER. At LMS he directed HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL, GREASE, HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 2, BACK TO THE 80s, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, THE LITTLE MERMAID and INTO THE WOODS. Prior to teaching, he performed in New York as a soloist at Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall and various Broadway & Off-Broadway stages . Mr. Hellyer teaches private voice lessons at the Linda Benanti Voice Studio in Kinnelon, NJ. Education: BA in Music Education from TCNJ, a G.D. in Vocal Performance & Opera from New England Conservatory of Music and a M.A. in Educational Leadership from TCNJ.

Debra Coen
Producer
Debra Coen has been working as Technology and Engineering teacher in West Orange for the last seventeen years.Previously she has served as Box Office Manager for A MIDSUMMER'S NIGHT DREAM and AIDA, She has previously done the program for AIDA and ALMOST, MAINE. This is her first show as Producer. She is proud to be a member of the WOHS Theater team.

Deborah Matz-Rees
Vocal Director
Deborah Rees has been a vocal/general music teacher in West Orange for 10 years. She has worked in the district as the musical director of several RMS productions, including FOOTLOOSE, ALADDIN, HAIRSPRAY, and THE LION KING. When she is not busy working with the very talented cast of this production, she is the general music teacher at Kelly Elementary & works with special needs children through the Badlani Foundation. Equally comfortable playing both keyboard and guitar, Ms. Rees is also an accomplished flutist and can be found performing in the NYC metro area. Ms. Rees is thrilled to be working with the cast of The Little Mermaid this year!
