    Playwright

    is an award-winning company whose plays have been performed around the world. The company is dedicated to developing innovative works that explore theatrical language and form, fostering an artistic dialogue with its audiences on the social, political, and human issues that affect us all. Tectonic supports readings, workshops, full theatrical productions, and training for students around the country in its techniques. Its groundbreaking plays, The Laramie Project, Gross Indecency: The Three Trials of Oscar Wilde, and I Am My Own Wife, have sparked national discourse about their subjects, inspiring artists and audiences worldwide.

  • Mr. Edward Grosskreuz, Jr.

    Director

    19th production with S&B. Past productions include every show adorning the rear wall of this theater. Honors: Marist College Theatre Hall of Fame, Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival, member of The Winter Theatre Company, performing at NYCB Theater at Westbury and the St. George in Staten Island, touring with Plaza Theatrical Productions, appearing with Hofstra’s Gray Wig Alumni Theatre, singing at Carnegie Hall. Credits include: Anything Goes (Sir Evelyn Oakleigh), Bye Bye Birdie (Albert), Cabaret (Emcee), Fiddler on the Roof (Motel and Fyedka), Blue’s Clues Live! (Steve), The Rocky Horror Show (Dr. Frank N. Furter), and Godspell (Jesus). Edward also serves as the adviser of Thespian Troupe 7495 and teaches English. BA in communications/public relations (Marist College ’06) and MA in adolescent education from (Adelphi University ’08).

  • Mia DeLuca

    Stage Manager

    is a sophomore at Mepham who is excited to continue participation with S&B. Previously, she was ASM with Thoroughly Modern Millie, The Government Inspector, and A Night on Broadway. Mia also assists with other aspects of S&B crew, like painting and running crew. She’s not someone who acts, but she loves theatre and this club! Mia thanks the cast and crew for making this a great experience.
