Dear Friends of the Theater,
Welcome to our 66th Annual Theatrical Season at Honesdale High School's Performing Arts Center, with our Wayne Highlands Middle School musical production of Finding Nemo, Jr!
We are thrilled to welcome you to our production of Finding Nemo JR.! Based on the beloved Disney-Pixar film, this vibrant musical brings the underwater world of the Great Barrier Reef to life on stage, following the heartwarming journey of a young clownfish, Nemo, and his courageous father, Marlin. Alongside a colorful cast of characters—including the ever-cheerful Dory—this production captures the spirit of adventure, family, and friendship.
As you dive into the story of Finding Nemo JR., you will be swept away by the creativity and talent of our cast and crew, many of whom are part of our educational programs dedicated to nurturing young performers. This production is a testament to our school's mission to enrich the cultural life of our community through performing arts education and family-friendly entertainment.
We are grateful for our board of directors, administrators, teachers, students, parents, production assistants, stage crew members, community, Friend of Honesdale Performing Arts Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and the generous support of our Season Sponsorships. We hope that you will patronize these businesses in show of your support as they have supported the arts in our community!
The spirit of collaboration has always been a hallmark of Honesdale. We believe, with our board of directors, that the Wayne Highlands School District is proud of our success in the area of the three “A’s” Academics, Arts, and Athletics. Education is a lifelong endeavor. The arts provide opportunities to use valuable critical thinking skills and explore diverse perspectives. For sixty-six years, Honesdale High School Performing Arts have helped define our community both on stage and off.
Thank you for your attendance and support at this performance. Now, sit back, relax, and get ready, as we bring the best of Broadway to you through our student musical productions. Patrons like you make our presentations possible when the lights go down and the curtain goes up.
Sincerely yours,
