Jackson Rolando
as Albert Peterson
Jackson Rolando is 13 years old. He's in 8th grade, and Bye Bye Birdie is the second play he's been in, after Thoroughly Modern Millie last year. Jackson thanks his parents (and grandparent) for letting him do this and getting him home from practice every day. He also thanks Ms. Medlock and Ms. Ference for getting this all together and he wishes he could do it again with them. (He's going to high school next year).

Nicola Tressler
as Rose Alvarez
Nicola Tressler, an 8th grader, is playing the part of Rosie and she is so excited for her first lead performance. Nicola has been in the last two plays at WMS and she is vocally trained by Angela Knight, an opera singer from the Kennedy Center. Nicola is the youngest of three daughters and her activities include her church youth group and playing the cello for the Culpeper Youth Orchestra. She would like to thank her parents and her directors for this amazing opportunity.

Jessica Pain
as Kim MacAfee
Jessica is thrilled to be playing Kim in this year's musical. She was bit by the theater bug back in 3rd grade when she got to play an orphan with FCT's "Annie." She later returned to FCT for "King and I." She has loved her musical experience at WMS starting with Cinderella, and was most recently seen slumming it as Miss Dorothy in "Thoroughly Modern Mille." (Perfect!) When Jessica isn't in rehearsal, she can be found at voice lessons (with her very talented grandma), dancing ballet and lyrical, and maybe even picking up the ukulele (because who wouldn't want to learn something new?). More than anything, she would like to thank Ms. Medlock and Ms. Ference for having a vision of what middle school theater is all about. She has made great friends (love my theater family!) and even better memories. Can't we do a spring musical too?? (No? How about I just come back next year?)
