Into The Woods - December 01 - December 09, 2023

Wakefield High

   Who's Who

WRENLY D. MAHONEY he/xe (Milky White) has been eager to be involved in the Wakefield theatre program since leaving middle school. He was previously the stage manager for Gunston Middle School’s production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and played Griffin in Encore Stage & Studio’s production of Gravestone Manor. Aside from theatre, Wren enjoys drawing and writing and is a violinist in Wakefield’s symphonic orchestra.

ANANYA MAZUMDAR she/her (Musical Manager) was worried that Marching Band season would hold her back from being able to work as a techie in Into the Woods this fall. Fortuitously, she found her role after suggesting that the cast recruit the Wakefield 2023 Drum Majors to help teach tricky rhythms and timing. Since then Ananya has been juggling her schedule to aid Lyndley in getting the cast to master the music. She'd like to thank Lyndley (for just being such a trooper), Katie and Cyrus (for taking time out of their schedules just to help out) and Leia (her dog, for being the best thing in her life.) All past, present and future accomplishments are dedicated to her.

DYLAN MYERS she/her (Ensemble) is a sophomore in her second production at Wakefield High School. She previously played a Big Kid in Matilda the Musical at Wakefield High School, as well as a Cheerleader in High School Musical at Carol Morgan School. Outside of theater, Dylan loves hanging out with her friends, baking, shopping, archery, and spending time with her family. She would like to thank her family and friends for all of their support. Dylan is thrilled to be involved in Wakefield's production of Into the Woods and looks forward to more productions in the future as well!

LEO MYERS he/him (Mysterious Man) is a senior who is delighted to be a part of his seventh production at Wakefield High School. A member of the Cappies Critics and International Thespian Society, two of his previous Wakefield theatre ventures include Shakespeare in Hollywood (Jimmy Cagney) and Matilda the Musical (Eric). Leo has loved creating and developing every production he's worked on at Wakefield HS, and this one is no different! He hopes you enjoy the show and wishes you luck on your journey through the woods!

GEORGIA NORWOOD she/they (Ensemble/Understudy for Florinda & Lucinda) is a freshman in her first production at Wakefield, and is really excited to be a part of Into The Woods! They have previously enjoyed performing in several productions at TJMS, such as Last Weekend The MusicalShakesplosion!!!, and Newsies Jr. She has also performed in Bedlam & Breakfast and Order Up! with Encore Stage and Studio. Outside of theater, she enjoys art, piano, and writing. Georgia would like to thank their family and friends for their support. She hopes you enjoy the show!

ANNELIESE ODEGARD they/she (Little Red Riding Hood) is a senior who is enchanted to be in her 9th production at Wakefield! Some of her favorite roles include Chris Hargensen (Carrie: The Musical), Matilda (Matilda: The Musical), Nora (Nora’s Lost), Singing Telegram (Clue), and Silly Girl (Beauty & the Beast). This is also her 5th time choreographing for Wakefield after getting her start in musical theatre choreography for High School Musical as a freshman. Outside of theatre, Anneliese spends her time dancing, making pins, collecting trinkets, designing outfits, adoring the woods, picking flowers, and skipping around (perhaps she isn’t all that different from Little Red). She thanks her family & friends, especially her own grandmother, for all their loveliness, and hopes you don’t stray too far from the path!

MARCOS O'CONNOR he/him (The Wolf) is excited to return to the Wakefield stage after having performed as Colonel Mustard in Clue, Jean-Michal in Cinderella, Max Reinhardt in Shakespeare in Hollywood, and Sergei in Matilda. Marcos has also appeared in a production of Bedtime Stories (As Told By My Dad Who Messed Them Up) as the Prime Minister/ Militia Captain, and Old Mr. Laurence in Little Women. He has graced the Encore Stage and Studio stage in The Three Musketeers (Rochefort), Mary Poppins (Von Hustler), The Comic Book Artist (D.C. Wonder Man), and Signature in the School's production of The Voices on Blackwell Island (Fredric Lewis). Marcos has enjoyed working with the cast and crew and is looking forward to the show.
