Danah Alkhafaji (Publicity) is excited to be part of Chicago. Past shows include Peter and the Starcatcher, Mrs. Bob Cratchit's Wild Christmas Binge, The Addams Family, In The Garden of Live Flowers as well as Signature Theatre's 12 Million Footsteps. Mikayla Both (Assistant Stage Manager) is thrilled to be participating in another Wakefield performance. She has previously been in Peter and the Starcatcher (Assistant Stage Manager), The Drowsy Chaperone (microphones), The Sting (curtain), and In the Heights (run crew). In her free time, Mikayla participates in the Wakefield Jazz Band, the Wakefield/Yorktown Winter Guard, and loves to listen to various types of music. She would like to thank her family and friends for all of their support!
Oliver Bullington-McGuire (Light Board Operator) is elated to be working backstage with the Wakefield theatre once again after Peter and the Star Catcher. He has previously worked on a multitude of jobs in other shows, such as Legally Blonde, and The Little Mermaid. Outside of theatre Oliver is an athlete and accomplished artist. He would like to thank those that he holds close to his heart for their love and support.
Ceili Canning (June/Narrator) is a junior and ecstatic to be participating in her seventh production with the Wakefield Players! Some of her favorite past productions include Seussical (Jojo), Lion King (Nala), In the Garden of Live Flowers, In the Heights, Pigman (Melissa Dumas), The Sting (Loretta Salino), Drowsy Chaperone, and Peter and the Starcatcher (Teacher). She would like to thank her incredible cast, crew, and directors for this amazing experience, and a special thanks to her Mom and Dad for all the endless support and encouragement. Elena Cura (Ensemble) is so excited to perform with all her lovely castmates in this fun show! She is a freshman and has been looking forward to the Wakefield musicals for many years! She has performed in several shows with Chalice Theatre, including Oklahoma, Children Of Eden, South Pacific, Shrek the Musical, Peter and The Starcatcher and was involved most recently in their production of The Addams Family. In addition, Elena spent two summers with Theatre Lab's Teen Musical Theatre Intensive including the world premiere of The Kids' Table and the DC area premiere of Hunchback Of Notre Dame. In her free time, Elena loves to learn languages, seek adventure and try to not get injured. Enjoy the show!
Aaliyah Dade (Mama Morton) is thrilled to be on the Wakefield stage for the 5th time! She has previously appeared in Wakefield’s production of Peter and the Starcatcher, Drowsy Chaperone, The Pigman, and In the Heights as Daniela. Outside of Wakefield, Aaliyah has appeared in the Theatre Labs production of The Hunchback of Notre Dame as a Gargoyle and is in Signature Theatre’s Acting Conservatory for students. Aaliyah is a proud member of the Thespian Honor Society and is excited to carry on thespian traditions! Aaliyah enjoys dance and fight choreography, so a few numbers are choreographed by her! Aaliyah would like to give a special thanks to all of her theatre/dance instructors, friends, and family for their profound support!
