    Wendi Arms (St. Pennie), soprano, holds Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degrees in Vocal Performance from Converse College. She grew up in Anderson, South Carolina, performing in community theatre and singing in churches. In college, she participated in operas at Converse and at the Brevard Music Center. In recent years, Wendi has performed several roles in community theatre productions with the Tryon Little Theatre in Tryon, North Carolina, and the Greer Children’s Theatre in Greer, South Carolina. Some of her favorite roles include Lilli/Katharine in Kiss Me, Kate and Mrs. Potts in Beauty and the Beast. She also played the role of Edith in a performance of David Berry’s opera, To Him Who Waits. Wendi is the Music Librarian at Converse University. She teaches voice for the Lawson Academy of the Arts at Converse and serves as the Minister of Music at First Baptist Church of Tryon.

    Kimilee Bryant performed as Christine in The Phantom of the Opera on Broadway, in Switzerland, Toronto and during the U.S. Tour. She is the only former Christine to return and play all three leading roles—Christine, Carlotta, and Madame Giry—in Broadway’s longest-running show. Other Broadway and NYC credits include The Pirate Queen, H.M.S. Pinafore, The Pirates of Penzance, and more. Regionally, she’s starred in West Side Story, The Music Man, Anything Goes, and My Fair Lady, with select opera roles in Carmen, Don Giovanni, and Hansel and Gretel. A Converse and Manhattan School of Music graduate, she is also the author of Aidan’s Awesome Adventures, inspired by her son, Aidan.

    Hailing from Rhode Island, Fay is in her third year at Converse University where she is studying contemporary music and pursuing a certificate in vocal performance. This is the first musical of her college career, having performed in community shows since she was a kid. When she isn’t studying, she writes, records and engineers pop music and plays guitar in a punk band called Ded Wed Lock.
