I have kept a very long list of friends, relatives, colleagues and students who have contributed to the creation and growth of this project that was first inspired by a masterclass at Converse University taught by Kimilee Bryant in 2012. Look at our website (waitingforyoumusical.com) for more detailed credits. John Jeter has been a loyal and long-suffering partner through many revisions and two table reads. Converse administration, staff, and faculty have helped us often and in many ways. I hope everyone who has contributed gets a chance to see or stream the show and recognizes their contributions when they pop up. Finally, I appreciate the enthusiasm and hard work of Michelle, the cast, and crew. I also must not leave out praise for our magnificent band!

Without David Berry’s belief in me and my work, I would likely not have a job, let alone have ever gotten to experience working on this astonishing project. He invited me into this journey, much to his peril or delight, and collaborating with a man of such genius, creativity and talent is, has been and will be life-changing.

Thanks to Marielle Pinto's devotion to the project, whose marketing and promotional efforts and skills are nonpareil. I would also like to acknowledge Lindsay Drakulic and Rachel Allgood for their marketing wizardry and to my students, Jacobi Cherry, Krissa Gaines, Shawn Pupke and Brandon Edwards for their marketing work. Thanks also to my sister and mother, Sally Jeter Gregg and Katherine Jeter. Thank you, Rob Morgan and Brandon Bodiford, for the arm, IV pole and tubing. Thank you to Jamarcus Gaston and Megan Heidlberg at WSPA-TV’s Your Carolina; Bradley Fuller at South Carolina Public Radio; Griffin Donley at Upstate Trail Talks podcast; and the entire team at TOWN magazine and Community Journals. Michael Grozier at Trueline and Marty Elliott and Katherine Garcia at Ready Room Collective have not only supported my projects but have been enduring and fearless supporters of live music and performing arts. Thank you to dear friends Dutch, Glen, Jessica, Mary and Carlisle, who flew in from all Mexico City, Los Angeles, Nebraska and Chicago to support this project. The list of so many other friends and colleagues would take pages; you know who you are!

Finally, my profound thanks to my beautiful wife, Kathy Laughlin, and inexpressible love and gratitude to and for my late brother and soulmate, Stephen, who saved my life. As far as I know, he’s making all of Eternity laugh for all Eternity, as he did with us in his too-brief time here.
