Stephen MacDonald

Director

When not teaching at Venturing, Stephen works locally as a proud Actors Equity Association Stage Manager. Recent professional credits include Frog and Toad at NSMT, Admissions and The View Upstairs at SpeakEasy Stage Company and Curious George and the Golden Meatball at NSMT. Stephen is excited to join the production team of Mamma Mia at Theatre by the Sea in RI after Shrek takes its final bow and will then continue on with Mamma Mia and A Christmas Carol at North Shore Music Theatre in the fall. Stephen is also the Director and Designer for the Parker Middle School and Coolidge Middle School drama programs in Reading, MA. Keeping the doors of Venturing Studios open has not been the easiest task, but Stephen and the supporters of Venturing Studios believe in the positive messages theatre can bring to our students, community and the world.
Jonathan Plouffe

Music Director

Jonathan Plouffe (Music Director) is thrilled to be working with Venturing Studios again. He has music directed over 50 shows and is excited to get back to live performances. For the past 15 years Jonathan has been the Choral Instructor at Thurgood Marshall Middle School. He would like to congratulate these young performers on all of their hard work. "Nose knows"
Lindsey McGovern

Choreographer

Lindsey is thrilled to be back choreographing for Venturing! She is the owner of Enchanted Dance Academy (Winchester) and a modern dancer/choreographer in Boston/North Shore. Recent MT choreography projects include Thoroughly Modern Millie Jr, Frozen Jr, Freaky Friday Jr. Recent modern dance performance/choreo: Salem Arts Festival, Mass Poetry Festival, NACHMO Boston.
Myles O'Connor

Stage Manager

Myles is super excited to be returning for his fourth year with Venturing! His recent credits include stage manager for the RMHS Drama Club productions of 9 to 5 and Act Up and production assistant for Parker Middle School’s Jungle Book. He would like to thank Stephen for all of the amazing work he has done to make this show happen!
