Jova Wilson

as Matilda Wormwood

Jova is ecstatic to be in her second VHS production. She was last seen in Peter and the Starcatcher (Sánchez), and Macbeth (First Witch). Jova is also involved in Varsity Singers and Teen Ensemble at Chicago Street Theater. She would like to thank her friends and family who have been extremely supportive and patient throughout this process. Jova hopes that you sit back, relax, and enjoy this production of Matilda!
Jakob Innes

as Miss Agatha Trunchbull

Jakob is very excited to be performing in his second show at VHS. This will be his second time in Matilda, having most recently played Mr. Wormwood in Regional Performing Arts’ production. He has also recently been in Peter and the Starcatcher (Teacher, Mrs. Bumbrake) and Sideways Stories From Wayside School (Mrs. Gorf). He is also in Varsity Singers and Band.
Mia Webdell

as Miss Honey

Mia is excited to be performing in her 3rd production at VHS. Recent productions include Mocha Madness and April Antics at VHS. When not involved with Drama Club, she’s in Varsity Singers and practices the violin. Mia has enjoyed working with all of the different people involved in this show, especially the directors, Miss Vass and Mrs. Peluso, and the cast and crew!
Nathan Kirk

as Mr. Wormwood

Nathan is excited to be in his third play at VHS. He was most recently in Peter and the Starcatcher (Black Stache) and Bye Bye Birdie (Albert). He is the President of the Drama Club and has also been a part of Mocha Madness and April Antics. He would like to thank the directors for this wonderful opportunity and all their hard work and his family for their constant support!
Isabel Blaney

as Mrs. Wormwood

Isabel is so excited to be playing Mrs. Wormwood. She was previously in Peter and the Starcatcher (Alf). When she isn’t at drama club, she is either at Varsity Singers or with her friends. She would like to thank her mom for always pushing her to step out of her comfort zone and be the best actress she can be.
