Alazare Atlaw

as Gomez

Alazare is deeply honored to take the stage as Gomez Addams in The Addams Family. He has participated in VCP Theatre productions of Romeo & Juliet, Mamma Mia, and the Fall Revue. Yes, he is the Fiddler on the Roof kid. No, he will not respond to that name. Alazare would like to thank his fellow cast mates and crew members for being such wonderful companions throughout this production. He would like to thank his family and friends for being there for him from the start.

Most importantly, Alazare would like to express his deepest gratitude towards Mr. Waid for being such a great mentor to him for the past productions. Lastly, Alazare urges you to get ready for a real good show (especially you, Dr. Ron Roberts PhD who he is not afraid of).

Sarah Kate Porter

as Morticia

Sarah Kate is excited to be playing Morticia in the Addams Family this year. She has also performed in VCP's productions of the Fall Revue, Mamma Mia, Romeo and Juliet, and the Twisted Tales of Poe. She would like to thank her God, Mom, Dad, Lake, Van, and Sophie for their support, love, and putting up with all her obsessions. She would also like to thank Mr. Waid for being such an incredible director and mentor for the past four years (definitely not because he told her to mention him in the acknowledgments), he really has made the theatre department an incredible thing to be a part of.

Sarah also thanks the cast and all her beautiful friends, who have done much to show her the light of God in her life. She will be studying history and music at Lipscomb University in the fall. Even if you're just here because you watched Wednesday on Netflix, enjoy the show.

Sophie Roberts

as Wednesday

Sophie is so excited to be in The Addams Family!!! This will be her 5th and final show at VCP as she is graduating this year. She would like to thank Mom, Dad, Asher, Ethan, Sarah, Anna, Elanor, Ren, Jester, Asha, Ella, Maryam, Aaron, Drake, Ruby, Jack, Zayli, Max, Noelle, Amelia, Abby, Hannah, McAuley, and the entire Addams Family cast and crew. You have really made this an experience to remember. Finally she would like to thank God for giving her this amazing opportunity with these amazing people. Enjoy the show!
