Bailey Tyler
as Elle Woods
Bailey is 18 and a recent graduate of Blue Ridge High School. She has been in 11 productions at The Greer Children’s Theatre, 2 productions at The Spartanburg Little Theatre including the role of Penny in Hairspray, and the production of Rock N’ Roll at Centre Stage. Bailey held the title of Miss Columbia Teen and finished as 2nd runner up in the Miss South Carolina Teen Pageant last June, along with winning the Overall Teen Talent Award. She will be attending Anderson University in the Fall to major in Musical Theatre and minor in Worship Leadership. Bailey is so excited to have this opportunity! Brandon Gaunt
as Emmett Forrest
This is Brandon’s first show at USC Upstate. Brandon is a local actor of Greenville. Some recent credits include Magil/Martha/Rocky/Dr. Shears/and Maxwell in The True Story of the Three Little Pigs at the NC stage, Buddy Holly in the Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story and Emmett Lochran in Civil War The Musical, and Ernst Ludwig in Cabaret and played Warner in Legally Blonde at Converse College with the talented Brookley Baker. Brandon is excited and honered to be playing the role of Emmett in this production. In his free time Brandon enjoys bare handed fishing for electric eels.

Anna Elyse Lewis
as Paulette
Anna-Elyse is a USC Upstate grad and Shoestring Players veteran. She is thrilled to be in her first V.E.L.C.R.O production. Some of her favorite credits include Wendla Bergmann in Spring Awakening, Maggie Pollitt in Spartanburg Little Theatre’s Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Lou Anne in SLT’s Hairspray, Marci/Glory in Almost, Maine (USC Upstate’s submission to the Int’l Youth Arts Festival in London, England), and Kate McGowan in SLT’s Titanic. Anna Elyse was also thrilled to be selected for a callback as Carole King for the National Tour and Broadway production of Beautiful: The Carole King Musical. She would like to thank her wonderful family (both biological and theatre based!) for always supporting her and her dreams! I love you to the moon and back!
