As a cast, we discussed all of the ordinary moments in Little Women, both in this show and in the novel. Through these ordinary moments, we recognize the humanity of the characters and how the story isn’t particularly exciting, but it is extraordinarily true. This is why one can continue to read the book, watch the movies, or encounter the show over and over again, and each time, in different seasons of life, find something new to relate to. We describe the plot of this story almost like a heartbeat—it's simply life, with small moments of the extraordinary that keep us going.
