 Production Team

  • Katie Odom head shot

    Katie Odom

(Director) This is Katie's first time having the honor of directing the Urbana Park District Summer Youth Theater program. While you may have seen her name in years past, this is a program that she has held near and dear to her heart from the age of 5 when she first appeared on this stage with this very program. She has loved the opportunity to take on this amazing project and looks forward to what the future holds between her and this amazing program. Next year, Katie will finish her Bachelor degree at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in Theatre Studies with the possibility of pursuing a Masters Degree. She would like to thank Jennifer Bechtel for all the inspiration and igniting the fire of theater, her family for their continued love and support every step of the way, Erica for trusting her with this amazing responsibility and the amazing cast and crew that has made this all a possibility. Enjoy the show!

  • Noah Scott Larson head shot

    Noah Scott Larson

(Music Director) Noah has been involved with the Youth Summer Theatre as an actor, pit musician, and now as music director. He has performed in many professional and student groups in the Champaign-Urbana area, including the East Central Illinois Youth Orchestra, Urbana Pops Orchestra, and the Champaign-Urbana Symphony Orchestra. He is also the co-music director of the St. Patrick's Youth Orchestra. He studies Violin Performance at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is very grateful to have had the chance to work with this fantastic group of young performers over this summer.

  • Armelle Harper head shot

    Armelle Harper

(Stage Manager) Armelle Harper just graduated from UIUC with a BFA in stage management. During her time at KCPA, she worked with all three resident producing departments: theatre, opera, and dance. Favorite Krannert credits include Into the Woods, Skin of Our Teeth, and Clybourne Park. Armelle has already amassed professional credits nationwide during her summers, including last year when she worked at On Your Feet! at Oriental Theater in Chicago for its tryout and later that fall for its premiere on Broadway. The day after our strike she is moving to NYC with the intention of making Broadway her professional home. Armelle would like to thank her family and cats in Texas for their endless support, the team at Armyle Harbricker Productions for their vision and genius, and Champaign-Urbana for being a wonderful artistic home for the last four years.
