  • Jim Brown

    as Emil Vare

    Jim has been an attorney in Elk City since 1970.  He is married to Judy Brown and they have two daughters and two grandsons.  He has been participating in plays since Elk City in 2011.  Some of his more recent performances were in “Brighton Beach Memoirs”, “Our Town”, “Addams Family”, “Tuesdays with Morrie”, and “Becky’s New Car”.  His other interests include woodworking, power tools, and yard work.  He is an active member of the Elk City United Methodist Church.

  • Basil Weatherly

    This is Basil’s first experience with the Pop Up Theatre concept after spending close to 50 years involved in many aspects of community theatre.  He has spent the last 20 years as chairman or on the Board of Director for Red Carpet Community Theatre and is a veteran of well over 50 productions there.  He has been involved in the Short Grass Theatre in Hobart being cast in two shows there.  Most recently he took parts in the Clinton Southwest Playhouse productions of “Arsenic and Old Lace” and “South Pacific” for which he was nominated for a Sophie Award for Best Dramatic Actor.  Basil is a member of OCTA (Oklahoma Community Theatre Association).

     

  • Cecilia Gensman

    Cici grew up in Lawton, Ok.  AS a child she was in numerous school plays and took summer theatre classes.  She gained a BA in theology and youth ministry from St. Gregory’s University while participating in theatre productions.  In 2009, she moved to Elk City where she has been involved with Red Carpet Community Theatre, Southwest Playhouse in Clinton, and Shortgrass Playhouse in Hobart.  Since moving here she has acted, directed, done light and sound and lots of prop work for all 3 theatres.  Being involved in around 30 shows in 7 years has been a wonderful experience.
