McIntyre died at the age of 47 of stomach cancer at his home in Manhattan in 1990. He was a writer and actor known for the films State of Grace (1990) as the screenwriter and Long Road Home (1991) as an actor, labeled Paymaster. Synopsis:
In a split second, a respected black policeman, Val, makes a haunting decision to end a low end criminals life. Throughout the story, Val has to contemplate telling the truth or keeping up the lie. What will he choose?
