    (Doaker) was last seen on the Bunbury stage as Lucien in THE BOYS NEXT DOOR and Hoke in DRIVING MISS DAISY and at Actor’s Theatre performing in BAREFOOT IN THE PARK and RAISIN IN THE SUN. Other notable characters he has portrayed are Stool Pigeon in KING HEDLEY II at The Thrust, Wolf in TWO TRAINS RUNNING at The Detroit Repertory Theatre, Luigi in WE WON’T PAY WE WON’T PAY at The Attic Theatre Detroit, and Sean Hendricks in I AM A MAN at Meadowbrook Theatre. His other credits include performing alongside Ella Joyce in Ron Milner’s national tour production of DON’T GET GOD STARTED, music and lyrics by Bishop Marvin Wynans. Clyde was nominated for best supporting actor as Wolf in August Wilson’s TWO TRAINS RUNNING by Detroit Free Press reviewer Larry Devine.

    (Boy Willie) is a second year graduate student here in the Theatre Arts program at the University of Louisville. He earned his undergraduate degree at North Carolina A&T State University in his home town of Greensboro, NC. He was last seen as Martin Luther King in THE MEETING, William Henry Brown in THE AFRICAN COMPANY PRESENTS: RICHARD III, and Companion in EDA. He is excited and honored to do another one of August Wilson’s great works this year.

    Byron Coolie is from New Orleans, LA. He is a third year graduate student, pursuing an MFA in Theatre Arts. In 2013, Coolie received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Marketing concentration from Elizabeth City State University in Elizabeth City, NC. Recently, he has portrayed Toni in Promiseland (Pioneer Playhouse), Nate in Double V, and the University of Louisville Productions of Dead Man Walking and Hint! as Clyde Percy and Mr. Cooch, respectively. He is a member of Alpha Psi Omega.
