Hello, and welcome to ALMOST, MAINE.
At the request of officials at Union High School, you will be seeing an amended version of ALMOST, MAINE tonight. Two scenes, entitled "They Fell" and "Seeing the Thing" have been altered.
Copies of the original versions of these scenes will be made available to you after the performance. I ask that you take these versions home and read them. They are from the original version of the play, which has been performed thousands of times all over the world.
I hope you enjoy them. And wonder why they had to be altered.
