Tarzan - February 27 - March 08, 2014

UWFox Valley Theatre

 DIRECTORS NOTE

Welcome to UWFox and the Wisconsin non-professional premier of Disney's Tarzan the Stage Musical!

We are so pleased to be the first company to produce this show in our community!

Tarzan the Broadway Musical began previews on March 24, 2006 and officially opened at the Richard Rodgers Theatre on May 10, 2006. The show closed on July 8, 2007.

The first line sung in Tarzan is "Put your faith in what you most believe in." This lyric could not ring more true to me. With such a demanding show as this, I believed that our local community talent could rise to the challenge of a show as demanding as Tarzan. And boy did they!

From vocals to adapting their body language into ape movements, you are about to witness 3 months of grueling (and painful) work come to life before your very eyes in vivid color and form.

I cannot express how excited and proud I am to have the cast and crew you will see on our stage. The level of professionalism and the amount of work they have put in to make this show a sucess is nothing short of amazing.

Most of all, thank YOU for supporting our program and your local community arts!
