Thank you so much for joining us for another THS production! You may be wondering...a musical in the fall..."well that is the stupidest thing that I have ever heard..." (don't worry...you'll get the reference after the show). This season we broke tradition and opted for two musicals, and to say the students were thrilled is an understatement!
When I first saw this show, I thought it was smartly written with nods to Shakespeare and so many others in a variety of ways...but also with musical theatre references throughout! I knew it was a show that would help bring together theatre lovers of all ages and one that my English teacher friends would appreciate as well. The show is about having the courage to be yourself and not feel pressured "to be or not to be" like everyone else. It reminds you to trust your tribe as it takes you through a satirical look of "history" and pokes fun at most things...Finally, it encourages you to not take things so seriously and we hope that's exactly what you do as you sit back and watch the dedicated students on this stage! They have all worked extremely hard to put on a show worthy of your applause!

To the Dream Team-(Aiko, Tom, Jessica and Ray)...thanks for being my Tribe. I trust in you and all that you do to make our vision come to life on that stage...each and every time. Thank you for making art...coming up with new ideas...using your endless talents to shine light on these kids. I'm so extremely grateful for all of you being in my corner.

To my Seniors-You have shown what dedication and leadership look like...and I will always be grateful for your ability to see the big picture and trust the process. You know what it feels like to be here...enjoy every moment up there. You deserve it!!!
To the Crew-Without you...this show wouldn't be able to go on! I've said it before and I'll say it again...this is a group effort and I am so proud of you all for stepping up and into roles that you might not have had background in to help make the technical aspect of this show soar! You are awesome!
To my family-THANK YOU!!!!!! A grumpy wife, mom, daughter who spends days/nights at the theatre and is worn down and hangry...isn't necessarily what you signed up for...but you never make me feel like it isn't worth it. You support me through it all and when it comes to show time...you are ALWAYS there cheering us on the loudest! I am the luckiest...because of you.
