A message from the directors
From the bottom of our hearts, we want to express how proud we are of all the children in drama club. This is the first production we have done and my, what a production it has been! Each and every child has put their all into their role, whether this be learning lines, songs, dances and stepping outside of their comfort zone. We want to thank all of the children for their commitment to the club as well as their positive can-do attitude. We are so impressed with how far they have come in a short space of time and their willingness to give up their own time for extra rehearsals. This production wouldn't be what it is without them. We're sure you will all agree that Matilda Jr is an ambitious production for such young children but they have all been absolutely spectacular and we cannot imagine putting a performance on without them. A special mention to all of the Year 6's in drama club - we hope that you continue in your pursuit of acting in wherever life takes you next.
A special thank you to Mrs Whittaker for helping with singing, Miss Horn for being our photographer, Mrs Geary and Mrs Shakespeare for their creative help regarding props and set alongside all other staff at Townlands who have offered their help to make this production possible.
